Are You Teaching Odd and Even Numbers? Here Are Some Task Cards For You!

I've created Task Cards for my second grade teacher friends! Most of you start the year reviewing odd and even numbers. Especially if your district uses Go Math, Odd and Even Numbers are the first lesson in chapter one.

Teach & Spiral Odd and Even Numbers

A quick and easy way to introduce and even review odd and even is to let everyone find a partner. Even students = even groups.... Odd number of students  = one left over. Stress that with an odd number there will always be ONE LEFT OVER.
Some none examples to review, if you have two students, you have another group of two, so you are still at an even number. If you have three students, you have ONE MORE group of two students and ONE left over.
