This free cat printable would make a wonderful display for Friday the 13th. The students could color or paint the cat black, then they could cut it out and glue to a yellow or white circle to be a black cat in front of a beautiful full moon.

Once your students have done the mini-art activity, have a quick brain storm session about your students' previous knowledge about the Friday the 13th superstitions. Make a class anchor chart with Friday the 13th superstitions and you have a quick and easy lesson for your Social Studies and traditions that day! Extended it by having your children write about a new tradition they learned and your Black Cat bulletin board is now rocking your hallway! :)
