Every Tuesday Michelle, from Teach 123, and I will have a new installment of my favorite post, Tuesday Teacher Tips!
Click here to see the previous weeks.

Last week I talked about February being a small, short month, but one that is jam packed with all sorts of fun holidays to incorporate into the elementary classroom. In 19 school days, there is Groundhog Day, Black History Month, St. Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, George Washington's Birthday, Abraham Lincoln's Birthday, Madis Gras, Ash Wednesday, Chinese New Year and Dental Health Month! Not too mention my friends up north who get a snow day or two!

I've been at a few school districts that don't allow St. Valentine's Day "PARTIES" but I've never been at a school that the principal doesn't allow cards to be passed out. Cards are cute, sweet reminders for little ones that someone loves them. With all the testing we pour down on these babies year round, during the cold, damp days of February a little love is a good thing!

I graduated from FSU in 1989 and I've never been elaborately creative, but once someone gave me the directions, I was good to go. Today I want to share with you some Valentine Card Holders, Valentine Treats, Valentine Crafts and Valentine Cards as well as a freebie or two. I have also included a FREE set of Valentine Day cards that you can print for your whole class....so everyone can ALL pass out cards to the ENTIRE class. <----- Must be read with your best teacher voice! :)

St. Valentine Day Cards
This Tuesday my freebie for you is a set of printable St. Valentine's Day Cards! Print on white for a coloring sheet of Valentines for your students to make or take home. Print on red or pink card stock for some easy, quick, ready to use Valentines.
