My favorite read aloud is The Princess and the Pig. My students know I LOVE pigs and this gets them excited about reading. It's great :)

ReplyDeleteI looooove PoutPout Fish! I was worried my know it all 2nd graders would think it was a baby book but they loved it too! They loved them both and I would hear them reading it to themselves with all the same expression as when I read it, it was too cute!

There are so many read alouds I love. Laura Numeroff has some great ones because of the repetition. My kids love anything when they can "read" along. The Gingerbread Man! Our reading series (Harcourt) had a favorite "Bee Bim Bop". I haven't read PoutPout Fish but it looks awesome!! What a great giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI swear you won't believe me, but my favorite read aloud IS The Pout Pout Fish! I use it every SINGLE year :-) These were gone from Kohl's when I got there, so I would LOVE to win them as they were sold out!

ReplyDeleteI like to read to my kinders. I just don't know if I can pick a favorite because I have so many that I like. I still like Brown Bear, Brown Bear a lot. I just have become acquainted with the Pout Pout books and they have become favorites too.
