It's Thursday's Tech Tips for Teachers and Bloggers!
Hi Friends! Welcome back! I am slowly and surely getting use to the new Pinterest & embedding a pin is now a little more difficult, but so worth the effort. Why is it worth the effort? Because when you use their widget correctly, you are not breaking any copyright laws by saying that the picture or the information is your original thought. You are very clearly stating that you are just showing a PICTURE of the pin on your blog, with the correct citing information.
So, on with this Thursday's Tip!

How to Embed Your Pin
1. First thing, log on.
2. Next, click on the pin you want to embed in your blog post.
3. Click Share in the top right hand corner, then select Embed.
4. The new window you get is what's new, it will make a widget for you. It should pop up automatically, but you might have to click, Build It. Once on this new window, highlight and copy the HTML code from the "Insert a Link" square.
5. Paste it into your HTML view of the blog post.
6. Next, return to the Pinterest window and highlight and copy the HTML code from the "Load the JavaScript" square.
7. Return to your blog and paste it as the very last thing in your post, under your button, under your ads, under everything.
8. Ta-da, you are done!
