Welcome Back to Thursday's Tech Tips for Teachers!
This linky party is for anything technology related that you would like to link! You may link up a PowerPoint you've made for school, blogging tips for fellow bloggers, software you recommend for a classroom, an app you use, anything, anything at all that you feel deserves a shout out!
THIS THURSDAY'S TIP!
A Shortcut Cheat Sheet for Microsoft Word
I love Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Most of the tips for Word, will also work for PowerPoint.
The more keyboard shortcuts you know, the quicker you will get your work done. You will not have to stop typing to reach over for the mouse to select something from the menu. Although the movement seems minimal, the more your hands reside on the keyboard, the quicker you can finish your document, PowerPoint or project.
Want to center the next line? Ctrl + E
{Ctrl + E means to type and hold the Control Key then type E.}
I organized today's cheat sheet alphabetically by the thing you are trying to do...would you like to make your test bold...it is right at the top, Bold highlighted section. Ctrl + B.

Thanks Fern! I knew some of the shortcuts but not all oh them. Thanks also for visiting my blog thru Farley's Currently. I will link here with a tech idea when I have more time! Here's a tech question for you (or anyone): on my blog I do not have a. 'Reply' feature on comments. How can I add that? Thanks again for visiting me at Teachers Are Terrific!
ReplyDeleteIf you have commenting enabled on your blog, then threaded commenting will work provided you have your blog feed set to "Full," and have chosen the “Embedded" option as opposed to “Full page” or “Popup window.” To change your commenting settings, just go to the Comments section under Settings | Posts and comments.
DeleteI hope that helps!

Thanks I will try all that again. In the meantime I posted today about an art project we completed in my classroom. We use a blog site that has tons of art ideas so I linked with you about that. I display the steps to the project on my smart board and the kids follow along. Our little pug puppy pictures turned out great!
