Looking for Some Veterans Day Freebies to Celebrate Veterans Day in Your Classroom? I am very proud to be the wife of a retired Navy man! As a teacher it was always hard to move and start over, but he is so worth it. Any Freebies I could get from my files was a big help.
I am very proud to be the wife of a retired Navy man!
Here he is, fresh out of Boot Camp many, many moons ago! ;)
Growing up in a large military town, many of my teachers were retired military. My husband did not become a teacher, but is now an inspector for the State of Florida. I really love to see the pride and education that our military members bring to a community. As a thank you for all the retired military who are now teachers and for their wives and family, I have some Forever Freebies for your files.
As of today's post, this coloring book has been downloaded over 124,000+ times! I have received many emails and TpT messages from teachers who use the pages as thank you cards, luncheon placemats, banner posters and much, much more. Please know, I ♥LOVE♥ every single message and read each one to my husband too! ♥
You can color and write class thank you cards and send them to:
A Million Thanks
17853 Santiago Blvd. #107-355
Villa Park, CA 92861
You can also Google, "Where to send thank you cards to our veterans and military." for more organizations.
If you are an intermediate grade, these are also terrific to use as story starters, thank you cards, and writing prompts.

Please send me the packet! I was just on FB with my son in the USNavy. His wife is also enlisted US NAVY. He is currently on deployment, leaving wife & 6 month old daughter at home. All a little stressed right now. I will print packet for mommy & baby to remember WHY we all support the USA military & the life they lead, so we can be free! Thank you.
