Easy Oreo Truffles!
With Christmas just around the corner, I wanted to share this family favorite with you. This recipe is a family favorite not only because it tastes great, but also because it is so easy to make.  You can even make these with your students as part of your Christmas parties. The hardest part in making these cookies is keeping my family from eating the Oreos while we were crushing them!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 ounce) package OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 1 (8 ounce) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 (8 ounce) package BAKER'S Baking White Chocolate, melted

Directions

  1. Crush all of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor or with a mixer. (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resealable plastic bag.) Place in a medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 1 inch balls, about 40 of them.
  2. Dip balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle with melted white chocolate. {I gave you a picture of my best cookie, I need practice with drizzling melted chocolate, but they all still tasted wonderful!!}
  4. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.
