Veterans Day Planning Resources and a Few Freebies!

Veterans Day is November 11th!
Time to begin planning for this special holiday. 
Below are a few resources you might want to include in your plans this year. 
 I am a {Retired} Navy Wife, TOUGHEST JOB IN THE NAVY {according to a bumper sticker at the Exchange!} teaching in a big Navy town! So, my friend Michelle and I have created a few freebies for you when you get to the bottom of the post!

  3. I would love a copy! My husband is Charles and he is in the Army. You can say he is from a military family, as his grandfather, father, 2 uncles and aunt have also served. Thank you!

  4. My Dad is Charles Edward Webber and he served in the Marine Corps - a drill instructor!! He even has a brick in the sidewalk at the Marine Corps Museum at Quantico. I always do a Veterans Day unit in my class to honor my Dad and all other veterans.

  5. My dad's name is Tom Forshee and he served in the Army during Vietnam. My maternal grandfather, C.J. Carey, served in the Army during WWII and spent time in Germany and France. My brother-in-law, Troy Bryant, just finished his service to the U.S. Air Force and spent time in Iraq.

  6. Please send me the packet! I was just on FB with my son in the USNavy. His wife is also enlisted US NAVY. He is currently on deployment, leaving wife & 6 month old daughter at home. All a little stressed right now. I will print packet for mommy & baby to remember WHY we all support the USA military & the life they lead, so we can be free! Thank you.

    Thank you so much for offering these freebies to all of us who stay strong for our loved ones. My husband John is a veteran of the Air Force. My dad is also a veteran of the Army as well as most my uncles and grandfather (Navy). My brother-in-law is also a veteran of the Navy. My brother is currently in the Army and just returned from his 4th tour overseas. :)
    Thanks again for taking the time to honor our veterans and the ones who support them.
