Frances' Amazing Cookies!

Turtle Pretzels

But our family calls them...

Frances' Amazing Cookies

after the friend who taught me to make them! 

Ingredients:

*48 miniature square pretzels 
(We both teach third grade, so when she was telling me the type of pretzel to buy she said, and I quote, "It looks like an array!")
*48 unwrapped Rolo chocolates
*48 whole pecans 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place parchment paper on cookie sheet.
3. Place unbroken square pretzels in one layer onto a cookie sheet.
4. Unwrap the "Rolos" and place one on top of each pretzel.
5. Slide the cookie sheet into the oven for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes (until Rolos get shiny, but still hold their shape.)
6. Take cookie sheet out of oven.
7. Place one full pecan on top of each Rolo and press down. {Eat broken pecans while you work!}
8. Place cookie sheet in freezer for 10 minutes for chocolate to re-set.

Makes 4 Dozen Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful cookies!
