Using Clear Pushpins to Make Changing Bulletin Boards Easy Work!

My Students' 2012 Math, Behavior and Science Goals!

This year I have started putting the students' items up on my bulletin boards with clear pushpins! I can change out a bulletin board in 5.SECONDS.FLAT! Just kidding, but it is pretty~durn~close! :)
Every single time I take papers down I think, "Why did I never use these?" I also ♥love, ♥love, ♥love the fact that the students' papers don't get ripped like they use to when I stapled all four corners!

Here's one more picture I would like to share from today. I took it as a close up of the pushpins/thumbtacks and then I realize my little fellow had drawn a picture of himself using my new Mickey Mouse flash cards!

Don't you love it when they appreciate/love something you gave them?!?! Click {HERE} to see my Mickey Mouse flash card post, it is getting a lot of pins and repins on Pinterest!

  1. I love push pins too! You don't need tools (which I have to search for every time) to take down the stapled work and you don't have to try to hold all the used staples in your hand so they don't fall on the floor where you know little Billy will find them and play with them and put them in his mouth or maybe poke a friend with one!

  2. Oh Melissa! I've been there! YOU ARE SO RIGHT!
I forgot all about that part! There is nothing worse than truckin' along reading a great read aloud and you look up and someone is "criss-cross applesauce" sucking on a staple!!!

  3. Just today I saw two of my kids with staples. Yes, one was sucking on the staple. I changed over to a push pin bulletin board today!!
We wrote reading, writing, and behavior goals and they look outstanding. Thanks for the idea. These goals look so much better than our first round of goals.

    1. I'm so glad I could help, that is exactly what my students would do, I would be reading a story and look up and someone would have found a staple in the rug...what makes them think, "yum, I'll suck on this" ???
I'm so glad you liked the goals!
